This policy explains how Bobby Furniture Kenya (“we”, “us”) handles your personal data when you use this website or contact us. We follow the Data Protection Act, 2019 (Kenya).
What we collect
- When you contact us (WhatsApp, phone, email): your name, phone number, delivery address and the details of your order.
- When you browse this website: nothing that identifies you, unless you accept cookies. If you click Accept, we use Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok and Pinterest to see which pages and products people view and which adverts brought them here, and Microsoft Clarity to see how people use the site (clicks, scrolling and anonymised session recordings — form fields and personal details are masked). When you tap a WhatsApp button, our server may also send a record of that click (the page, your IP address and browser type) directly to Meta and TikTok to measure our adverts. If you click No thanks, none of these tools are loaded and nothing is sent.
Why we use it
- To answer your questions, process and deliver your order, and provide after-sales support.
- With your consent, to measure our website and improve our adverts.
We do not sell your personal data.
Who we share it with
- Our delivery team, only as needed to deliver your order.
- Google, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest and Microsoft, only if you accept cookies. They may process data outside Kenya under their own safeguards.
- Authorities, only where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as needed for the order, warranty and our legal and tax obligations, then deleted.
Your rights
You have the right to be informed, to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its use for marketing. To use these rights, contact us on WhatsApp or by email. You may also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (odpc.go.ke).
